Elizabeth Warren is standing up for the U.S. Postal Service.
Senator Warren, along with a coalition of Democrats in the House and Senate, has DEMANDED that the USPS Inspector General investigate Trump appointee Louis DeJoy’s attacks on the government agency.
The Republican effort to undermine USPS “threatens the well-being of millions of Americans that rely on the Postal Service for delivery of Social Security checks, prescriptions, and everyday mail of all kinds,” according to a letter signed by Warren and her allies.
Our goal is the same as Warren’s: nothing more or less than a complete audit of the Trump administration’s actions at USPS, followed by an immediate reversal of all changes that could delay mail delivery through Election Day.
