Dear John,
Whether you watched our keynote stream or joined us all weekend in our virtual platform, THANK YOU for being a part of Netroots Nation at Home. We hope that you learned a ton, were re-energized and had some fun with other progressives from across the country.
On our closing day, we discussed disinformation in the 2020 campaign and dug into the challenges facing women, particularly women of color, who seek leadership roles and run for office. We talked about how building inclusive spaces is a process that involves hard work and commitment. And our keynote highlighted how we must break down systems of oppression that have existed for centuries in order to create the equitable and just world that we want.
Did you miss our Saturday keynote with Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, Alicia Garza, Nick Tilsen, Rashad Robinson, Dorian Warren, Alejandro Fuentes-Mena and Zenen Jaimes Perez? Click here to watch the recording.
