Professor Spencer Overton serves as the Patricia Roberts Harris Research Professor of Law at George Washington University. He also directs GW Law's Multiracial Democracy Project, which is currently working on research projects on the implications of artificial intelligence and alternative election systems for truly representative democracy in the United States.
Professor Jonathan Diaz serves as Professor of Law at Georgetown University. Jonathan is the Director of Voting Advocacy and Partnerships at Campaign Legal Center (CLC). CLC is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the wide range of challenges facing American democracy. As part of CLC’s Voting Rights team, Jonathan works directly with CLC’s litigation, communications, and policy teams to set organizational strategy on voting rights and elections advocacy. Furthermore, he has litigated voting rights cases in federal courts across the country, and regularly provides commentary on voting rights and election law issues.
