It has long been suspected that the National Rifle Association has been
involved in extremely shady, and some illegal, practices. As mounting
evidence continues to reveal the depth and extent to which this is true,
we must demand accountability for this organization and the harm it has
caused.

Congress hold investigations into its troubling and perhaps illegal

A Senate investigation from late last year revealed that the NRA worked
closely with the Russian government to influence American elections: top
officials at the NRA used the organization’s financial resources to curry
political favor for two Russians, Aleksander Torshin and Maria Butina, who
were convicted last year of conspiring to act as foreign agents.

The NRA also recently came under fire for abusing its tax exempt c3 status
with HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars that had allegedly been siphoned off
to top executives and vendors. Despite the information revealing that the
NRA may have abused its tax-exempt status, the IRS never investigated.

But now, the Attorney General of New York has stepped in, taking action to
dissolve the NRA because it is "fraught with fraud and abuse.”

[ [link removed] ]We must demand that Congress take action! The NRA must be dissolved and
investigations must take place to learn the extent of its illegal
behavior! >>

The NRA is one of the most powerful lobbying groups in our country, buying
off every politician they can. And while the U.S. saw the highest number
of mass killings on record in 2019, the NRA continues to financially
support lawmakers and candidates who block desperately needed gun violence
prevention reforms.

It is time we stop allowing this corrupt organization to continue breaking
the law and blocking progress on gun reform.
