I need to level with you.
Because of California’s redistricting, I am running for re-election in a brand new 42nd Congressional District. It’s tougher, it’s more competitive, and Republicans are already eyeing it as one of their best chances to flip a seat in California.
That’s why I set an ambitious goal: $4,200 in grassroots contributions before midnight tonight. If we can hit that mark, we’ll prove we have the strength to take on whatever Republicans throw at us in CA-42.
Dozens of grassroots supporters have already rushed to help me reach this goal, but with just a few hours left until the deadline, I’m just under 25 donations short.
