Hi John,

How many monarch butterflies have you seen this summer? Sadly, from lightning bugs to bumblebees to carnivorous tiger beetles, there just aren't as many insects as there used to be.

It's impossible to overstate the importance of insects in keeping ecosystems and humans healthy. But vast numbers of amazing insects are being lost across the globe due to pesticides, development and other threats.

Join me on Thursday, Aug. 20, for our next Saving Life on Earth webinar to learn more about our Saving the Insects campaign and how you can help.

I'll be hosting the presentation, and it'll feature Center senior scientists Tara Cornelisse and Tierra Curry.

The hour-long webinar starts at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET. Register here and check your email for the link to join.
