Facebook Fact Checkers have just applied a false and deceptive warning label to a viral meme created by William Gheen of the national organization ALIPAC, ([link removed][UNIQID]) posted on Thursday, August 13, to Gheen's new Facebook group titled "Stop Anti-White Racism" (View at top of group ([link removed][UNIQID]) ).

The meme accurately stated, "Media Blackout by CNN NBC CBS ABC Huffpo Washpo Associated press, etc... His name was Cannon Hinnant #SayHisName," and was sent as a National Media Advisory to ALIPAC's media contacts at Thursday, August 13th 7:52 PM, after Gheen checked the websites of each source listed finding no reports about the murder of Hinnant confirming the Aug 13 report by The Blaze, " '#SayHisName' trends after mainstream media's silence on the atrocious killing of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant" (Read ([link removed][UNIQID]) ).

A copy of this media advisory, meme, and time stamp can be viewed on the ALIPAC.us website beneath the first meme launch on Monday, the day after the murder. (View Here ([link removed][UNIQID]) )

"Facebook's biased fact checkers are trying to cover up the fact it took these prominent and biased mainstream media sources more than four days to report on this murder that has shocked the nation, and so many people online noticed their deafening silence. My meme is correct and true at the time it was published and Facebook should remove the deceptive warning from it immediately," said William Gheen at 10pm ET, August 15, after receiving notice of the block.

Before sending this notice and meme to more than 600 members of the national media the media, William Gheen checked the websites of CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, Huffington Post, Washington Post, New York Times, and others and found no reporting four days after the murder. The meme was true and accurate at the time it was created and launched.

The next day, on Friday August 14, five days after the murder of Cannon Hinnant, some of these publications started to report on it probably because they were responding to public pressure exerted by this meme and ALIPAC's national press advisory on the matter.

Now, Facebook has flagged the meme and claims the meme is false and details CNN, The New York Times, ABC News, and the Washington Post as having covered the story without mentioning this happened the day after the meme was launched!

Facebook tells all who see the meme--

"Is the media ignoring the tragic death of a 5-year-old boy who was fatally shot by a neighbor in Wilson, North Carolina, on August 9, 2020? No, that's not true... The truth is that the media, and not just local news, has widely covered this tragedy. Cannon Hinnant's name and story has spread across the nation. Here are just some of the national stories that have come out in the aftermath of his killing..."

William Gheen and the ALIPAC organization have faced many documented incidents of bias, censorship, and abuse by Silicon Valley corporations like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

William Gheen and ALIPAC have never put out false information in the ALIPAC organization's 16 year history and feel that Facebook should retract this false accusation immediately.
