Please sign our urgent petition                                                                                                                 Dear Supporter,

I wanted to make sure you saw Max’s email below. When lies and misinformation about Social Security are spread by people in power it can weaken the public’s confidence in the program, which could set it up for cuts in the future.

That’s why it’s extremely important you remind your elected officials: Social Security is NOT a scam! It is an earned benefit, and it needs protecting now more than ever. So please, if you haven’t yet signed our petition, please take a moment to do it now. ( [link removed] ) And if you have already signed it: Thank you. You’ve taken the first step in ensuring your views are heard at the highest levels of our government.

Please consider making a donation in whatever amount you can afford ( [link removed] ) to protect Social Security from unprecedented attacks in Washington.

Tell Your Members of Congress:
SOCIAL SECURITY IS NOT A ‘SCAM’!

Dear Supporter,

Incredibly, a sitting member of Congress just claimed that Social Security a “scam.”

With a single post on X, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (AL) dismissed a program that millions of Americans like you have paid into and earned during a lifetime of work — and are counting on to afford rising housing, grocery and prescription drugs costs.

Senator Tuberville’s “scam” remark is part of a larger anti-Social Security narrative that so-called “fiscal hawks” have deployed for decades, and is intensifying now, in hopes of undermining one of America’s most successful and popular government programs.

That’s why I urge you to sign the National Committee’s Petition to Congress to remind your representatives that “Social Security Is Not a Scam!” ( [link removed] )

Make no mistake, this is a most uncertain time for your earned benefits …

During a congressional hearing in March, GOP Senator Ron Johnson (WI) called Social Security a “forced retirement program.” Of course there are many others in positions of power who have called Social Security a “Ponzi scheme,” including Senator Ted Cruz (TX), billionaire Elon Musk and President Trump himself (in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve).

Our elected officials must understand that Social Security is a lifeline, not a ‘scam.’ And any attempt to weaken seniors’ earned benefits will be met with strong opposition.

Because if we don’t push back now, these false narratives will continue to spread and put Social Security at risk.

So please, add your name to our urgent petition now to protect Social Security and set the record straight on this vital program. ( [link removed] )

Your signed petition will help convince members of Congress to reject these misleading claims and publicly commit to protecting and strengthening Social Security.

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
