We’re only four days out from the launch of the 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) and we’re ready and raring to go!

This year’s Democratic National Convention is a little different from past years, in that it’s entirely virtual, but that doesn’t mean that the electrifying energy and strength will be lacking. 

We’d be lying if we said that we aren’t going to miss those off-the-cuff, memorable in-person moments like:

 

 

But, we’ll make do! The Democratic National Convention is a tradition that dates back to 1832, so to say that it’s rooted in history is not an exaggeration. A lot has changed since 1832 (thank goodness) but the DNC’s purpose is still concrete: to confirm a candidate for President and Vice President, adopt a comprehensive party platform, and unify the party. 

And this year’s DNC is no different -- with one exception. We’re launching our second Week of Action during the Democratic National Convention! All of Indivisible is here to make waves this election season (big, blue ones 🌊🌊 🌊). It’s no secret that Indivisible came together in a post-Trump world, and we’ve been preparing for this exact moment for the past 4 years. We’ve got the power of Indivisible on our side, and so does the Democratic Party this election season.

Here’s how you can get involved all week:

  • Join our already vibrant Windivisible community by signing up to phonebank and textbank! Reaching voters is more critical than ever as the election draws closer and more people will be voting-by-mail.   • Get excited: Rep. Ayanna Pressley is joining our co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg for a livestream to closeout the week! This event will take place on Friday, August 21st at 8pm EST -- make sure to sign up here!
