Vivek Ramaswamy just won the GOP primary for Ohio Governor.

You know this guy. Failed presidential candidate. Trump DOGE Czar who took a wrecking ball to Ohio — shuttering a dozen federal offices, gutting millions in Ohio State grants, and putting Ohio federal workers on the chopping block.

Vivek has called Medicaid a "mistake." He cheered Trump's tariffs while Ohio families saw their costs skyrocket. And last month, he got caught victim-shaming his Democratic opponent, claiming she had no vision “other than complain about what someone else did to her.” Amy Acton is a survivor of child sexual abuse.

And he's not even the worst name on the ballot.

Ohio Republicans also nominated Sen. Jon Husted. Yes — that Jon Husted. The one sitting smack in the middle of the largest corruption scandal in Ohio history.

FirstEnergy funneled a secret $1 million dark money payment to a nonprofit boosting Husted, and texts show Husted personally leading the charge on HB6 — the nuclear bailout at the heart of a $61 million bribery scheme that already put the former Ohio House speaker behind bars.

He benefited from the bribe money. He passed the bailout. He skated.

And in a single Senate term, he's piled on:

* Voted to kick 340,000 Ohioans off their health insurance — and to ram through the largest SNAP cut in U.S. history.
* Blocked ACA subsidies, teeing up an 83% premium hike and 107,000 more Ohioans uninsured.
* Defended Trump's tariffs as Ohio farms collapsed — then had the gall to say they "haven't affected the economy negatively.

This is who Ohio Republicans are running in 2026: an out-of-touch grifter and a bribery-soaked senator. They are not sending their best — they are sending their most corrupt.
