John: we can't afford to be outspent this November.

The Republican Governors Association has pledged to spend whatever it takes to defeat Roy - and now to make matters worse Roy's far-right opponent has been raking in cash at dangerous, irresponsible in-person fundraisers.

Summer is a tough time to fundraise, and since we're not hosting in-person events, it's even tougher for our finance team to make sure Roy has the resources he needs to win.

Tomorrow is our mid-month deadline. It's an important benchmark for how we're doing towards our monthly goal but right now we're at risk of falling short.

If we fall short now, we risk falling short at the end of the month - and getting outspent by Roy's far-right opponent and his out of state dark-money backers.

We know it's late on a Saturday, but if you could rush $10 right now, it'd make a huge difference in our fight to re-elect Roy and keep him fighting for progress in North Carolina >>

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
