John, Trump went on Fox News and admitted to withholding emergency funding for the USPS to hurt a voter's ability to vote from home. That comes after Trump mega-donor and new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy created chaos at the USPS by changing policies that affect voting from home but also the delivery of prescriptions, checks, groceries and other vital items.
Democrats are pushing back:
Sens. Gary Peters and Tom Carper introduced legislation to block harmful changes that impact USPS delivery service.
House Democrats are pushing a bill to reverse all the damage DeJoy has done.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has called on the Inspector General to investigate the disruptive changes made to the USPS. Now, that review is happening.
The actions from Democratic lawmakers are encouraging but we still need to get vote from home ballot applications into the hands of swing state voters.
That's where Vote From Home 2020 comes in.
For every $25, we can send 20 applications to the voters who could be the difference between Joe Biden winning the presidency or four more years of Donald Trump. If you can, please chip in now to help us deliver as many ballot applications as we can.
Thanks,
Team VFH 2020
