Dear Fellow American,

Since the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, the states have been empowered in ways they haven’t for half a century to take real action to protect life. But groups like Planned Parenthood haven’t gone away.

They are as determined as ever to push abortion—in what the New York Times called “filthy facilities” and even through the mail and push dangerous gender transition drugs on minors.

And they want YOUR tax dollars to fund it. To fund an activist organization with a track record of putting radical abortion and gender-identity politics over people.

But you aren’t helpless. You can partner with ADF’s Center for Public Policy to make a difference—to help save babies and give mothers real opportunity to choose life, in state after state. That’s not just hyperbole.

We’re working to put an end to Planned Parenthood’s gravy train of taxpayer funding and protect pro-life pregnancy centers—and we’re succeeding.

Step 1: Defund Big Abortion

One important way that pro-life state legislators and governors can make a real difference is to turn off the spigot of money that Big Abortion groups like Planned Parenthood receive.

Remember—money is fungible. That's YOUR money being spent to end unborn lives.

Thanks to the Supreme Court’s ruling in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic last year, states are free to defund abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood.

Here’s one reason why this should be a no-brainer: Planned Parenthood isn’t scraping by—it’s flush with cash. From 2018 to 2023 alone, it pulled in $3.2 billion in direct public funding, on top of hundreds of millions it receives every year from private donations. Since 2022, it’s been riding a fundraising surge, stacking up more than $2.5 billion in net assets.

And don’t buy the “non-abortion services” argument: that money they receive from the government doesn’t go towards abortion. Money is fungible. Every tax dollar you hand over frees up more resources for pro-abortion politicking and performing more abortions.

Enough is enough.

Planned Parenthood should not get another cent from the paychecks of hardworking Americans, including you.

When you make your first gift today, you’ll be joining a team that is serious about stopping abortion and providing mothers with the support they need. Plus, your generosity will be MATCHED, dollar for dollar, as long as funds remain available.

States like Texas, South Carolina, Idaho, and Tennessee have already taken action to defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses. We’ll continue to ramp up our on-the-ground efforts to encourage other states to follow their lead.

Step 2: Protect Pregnancy Centers

It’s not enough to defund Big Abortion. We’re committed to protecting pro-life pregnancy centers from government harassment and threats to their ability to serve their communities. They shouldn’t be forced to endure time-consuming litigation just to defend their basic rights.

That’s why my team is working with pro-life legislators on the CARE Act, which includes multiple provisions that would protect pro-life pregnancy centers from targeted harassment and attacks. Last year, Montana became the first state to pass it last year, Wyoming and Kansas passed it this year, and several other states are working on it as well.

Step 3: Stop Mail-Order Abortion

And we’re dedicated to putting an end to abortion activists’ end-run around pro-life state laws by pushing chemical abortion drugs through the mail. Since the Biden administration FDA dismantled critical safeguards that protected young women and girls, mail-order abortion drugs have become the most common method of abortion.

It’s frightening to think that so many mothers are left to perform their own abortions at home or suffer coercion and abuse without even a single in-person office visit or plans for follow-up care.

Consider Rosalie, who was coerced by her former boyfriend to take chemical abortion drugs. He made her fear for her safety and demanded she take the drugs to end their child’s life. She had no opportunity to ask for help—he ordered the drugs online from a California doctor who never even spoke with her.

“If mail-order abortion wasn’t a thing, I’m 100% sure I would have my child,” Rosalie said.

She’s now working alongside the state of Louisiana and ADF to hold the FDA accountable for allowing the drugs that killed her child to be recklessly distributed through the mail.

Ending Roe was a landmark moment in the decades-long effort to protect unborn life. But much work remains—and you can play a key role in protecting the lives that are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Don’t forget—your first gift today will be DOUBLED, as long as matching funds last!
