The Supreme Court just opened the door to voter suppression.

The Supreme Court just gave Republicans across the country the green light to dilute the power of voters of color — a direct assault on our democracy.
This decision isn’t happening in a vacuum. It follows a long and painful history of voter suppression, especially in the South. Now, with this new precedent, the threat is more urgent than ever.
That’s why Congress must pass a national ban on ALL gerrymandering immediately.
This fight is about more than lines on a map. It’s about whose voices are heard, whose votes are counted, and who gets to shape our future. They are trying to silence communities of color to hold onto power, plain and simple.
Progress is not a straight line — it’s a constant battle. I am in this fight, and I need you with me.
Will you chip in $10 right now? Your contribution will fuel our fight against gerrymandering, help protect voting rights, and defend our democracy in this critical moment.

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
