Hi John,

I wanted to be sure you saw A’shanti’s note. We continue to be inspired by our network of alums across the country at the local, state and federal level to push for progress in their communities.

Emerge has trained over 4,000 women — a number we always want to increase! — but in order to grow the network of Democratic women leaders, we need to meet every fundraising deadline and goal — and right now we’re just $1,814 short of where we need to be.

That means we need one of two things to happen in order to not fall behind — we need more donations to close this gap. John, can you make a contribution today? [[link removed]]

This election year is shaping up to be unlike any other before.

Thank you!

John,

I’m sure you’ll agree — 2020 has been like no election year before. And yet I’m proud to see our alums continue to strive for progress across the country.

This month alone I’ve seen alums stand up to combat systemic racism through policy, like Councilwoman Ce-Ce Gerlach in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

And in Nevada, Emerge alums made sweeping changes to expand access to voting during emergencies — a critical effort as we navigate a presidential election during a pandemic.

I’ve continued to be inspired by our alums winning their primaries — women like Dr. Hiral Tipirnei in Arizona who, if elected in November, would join Emerge alum Congresswoman Kim Schrier as one of two women doctors in the U.S. Congress. We can count on her to continue to fight and advocate for her community.

If you want to ensure we’re able to celebrate more Democratic women’s victories and women who take bold action for progress, make a contribution to Emerge today. [[link removed]]

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we’re able to celebrate wins across the country.

A’shanti F. Gholar
President

This email was sent to [email protected]. Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are working to bring their values up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities like the environment, accessible and affordable healthcare, social justice and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

Email is the best way for us to keep you informed about what’s happening with our work. You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support—that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women.
