Beto’s been hitting the road hard lately.

Campuses. Community colleges. Student centers. Courtyards. Concerts.
Anywhere we can find young Texans who are ready to talk about the future
of this state.

And when he meets someone who needs to register, update their
registration, or figure out how to vote, we make sure to get them ready to
vote in November’s election.

It’s the best part of the work we do.

Powered by People has 13 organizers across Texas and hundreds of
volunteers who are doing this every day.

They’re talking to young Texans, answering questions, checking
registrations, and personally following up with voters until they cast a
ballot.

Beto joins our volunteers on the road because these conversations matter.
Our organizers and volunteers are out there because they know what’s
possible when we reach people face to face and stay with them all the way
through Election Day.

This work of personally connecting with and staying in touch with young
voters produces big results. In 2024, the young voters we met in this way
turned out at over 79%, compared to a state-wide average for young people
of between 37-39%.
