Hi John -- I wanted to follow up with you on our strategy that will ensure Donald Trump’s attacks on vote-by-mail absolutely BACKFIRE on him in southeast Pennsylvania.

While the president and his GOP accomplices push false narratives about the “corruption” of voting by mail, we’re going to reach voters with the facts. We’re arming them with the tools to get themselves, their families, and their friends registered to vote. We’ll make sure they know how to request their ballots. And then, we’ll keep following up to ensure they’ve completed their ballot and returned it to their local election office.

John, Election Day isn’t just November 3. The pandemic has made it election season. With delays at the US Postal Service, it’s critical that voters return their ballots WEEKS in advance of the election -- because if their ballot arrives late, their vote won’t be counted.

Voting shouldn’t be hard or confusing. That’s why Mary Gay and our team are working to make it easier for every eligible voter across Pennsylvania’s Fifth District. But hiring more staff is key to making our strategy possible, and right now, we’re still facing a budget shortfall.
