You might not know this about me, folks — but I live on a farm in rural Montana far, far away from the D.C. swamp.

Even so, the mail has always made its way to my dirt farm — rain, sleet, or snow. Just like me, Montanans across the state rely on the postal service for their medication, paychecks, bills, mail-in ballots, and so much more.

But now, less than 100 days until the election, Donald Trump wants to gut the Postal Service to secure another term and he even said so himself:

“They need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots...But if they don’t get those two items that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting...”

Even worse? Earlier this week, we discovered that the Postmaster General had been removing mail collection boxes all across Montana with zero explanation.

Thanks to folks like you raising your voice, we were able to stop these horrendous actions from continuing, but the Postmaster General still has policies in place that will lead to slower and less reliable mail delivery.

These actions set my hair on fire and they have real life implications for folks in rural America and their ability to access critical postal services like paying their bills and voting in upcoming elections.

I need you to sign my petition today demanding emergency funding for the U.S. Postal Service so Montanans and Americans across the country can reliably receive their critical packages and vote by mail this fall.

Trump has abused a lot of our institutions, but this is by far one of the most egregious attacks on our democracy and American families.

Thanks for taking action,
