Hi John,

I know that my team has spent a lot of time in your inboxes recently.

But there's a reason for that.

Due to the pandemic, this election will consist largely of mail-in ballots. People will be making their decisions throughout October, not just on November 3rd. That's why we need to be able to reach out to every single voter before ballots get sent out.

And in order to do that, we'll need to run TV ads. They're still one of the best ways to reach voters. But running in LA county -- we're in one of the most expensive media markets in the country.

We set a goal of $20,000 from online grassroots donors for our TV budget. We're still $5,129 short. Can I count on you to pitch in $5 or more before midnight to close the gap?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Getting my message out to voters is incredibly important to me.

I decided to run because my daughters felt lost and hurt by the results of 2016 -- and as a mom, I won't let them lose hope. I'm running to make my own mom proud -- a nurse who took care of HIV patients during the AIDS crisis but who passed away at 67 because she couldn't afford her insulin. These are the stories I want voters to hear.

But because I'm committed to running this campaign largely on grassroots donations, I don't have the corporate PAC and D.C. lobbyist big dollar donations behind my name. I'm relying on you.

By committing $5 right now, you can play a crucial role in getting our message out to voters and letting them know why I want to fight for them in Congress. Let's turn CA-25 blue again.

I am so grateful for all of your support. Thank you and stay safe!

-- Christy
