Friend, when I joined the Marines and took the oath to defend our country and our Constitution, there’s one thing I didn’t pledge to defend: a political party.
As we struggle through the biggest public health and economic crisis of our lifetime, it’s never been clearer that we need leaders at every level of government who will take this seriously, act with integrity, and prioritize the needs of the people—not a narrow partisan agenda. The dysfunction we’re seeing in Mitch McConnell’s Senate right now is shameful.
That’s why I’m so thrilled to see my fellow veterans Gary Peters, Mark Kelly, MJ Hegar, and Cal Cunningham running for Senate. I know that when they took their own oaths of service, it was in the same spirit as I did: to put country and mission first. And I know that’s the same spirit they’ll bring when they’re sworn into the Senate next January. Today, I’m hoping you’ll split a donation among these incredible veterans and myself and help take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell:

We all have our own reasons for entering public service, but I can tell you that this group is united in despising the swamp Mitch McConnell has created—a government that reaps rewards for big-money special interests and leaves everyday people behind. And we share a commitment to making sure Washington gets back to work prioritizing people—not corporations, not the wealthiest 1%, not political allies in D.C.
Our shared mission centers on restoring accountability to the Senate and doing right by our servicemembers, veterans, and military families, while pushing for progress on health care, education, election security, and other keys to defending our democracy, especially during this pandemic.
We’re ready to go—but we’re all in competitive races, and the other side is backed by Mitch’s favorite outside groups pouring millions into our elections. We need to raise as much money as we can to help make sure each of us can reach voters, spread our message, and fight back against whatever they throw at us.
The future of the Senate—and our democracy—depends on it. Today, will you split a donation between Gary, Mark, MJ, Cal, and myself to help us win in November?
