Josh has joined 9 other New Jersey members of Congress in demanding answers from the Postmaster General about the delays in our mail.
The operational failings of the USPS is causing delivery delays at the local level — in our district.
Do we need to save the USPS?
The USPS is one of the most important federal agencies in our country, and it employs over half a million Americans. If we lose this vital piece of infrastructure, we will lose the most common way to send mail, packages, and products, and
600,000+ Americans will lose their jobs.
We want to hear from you, does the federal government need to stop treating the USPS as a partisan issue?
Josh is calling on the Postmaster General to provide an explanation as to
why our mail in NJ-5 and across the country is being delayed. By letting go of the top two executives who oversaw day-to-day operations, it’s clear that he is doing everything in his power to overhaul the USPS.
The Postmaster General is pulling out all the stops to halt universal vote-by-mail in November. As a result, he’s threatening the lives of people who rely on the USPS for essential goods like prescription drugs.
With all the USPS offers, we know we can’t survive this crisis without them. But we need to know what you think: is the USPS essential?
Thanks for your input,
