Despite the continued threat of COVID-19, Trump and Republican governors are going against public health guidance by reopening schools for in-person classes without adequate personal protective equipment.

Let’s be clear -- during a global pandemic, students, parents, and teachers should not be forced to pick between education or health.

For back-to-school season, pledge to vote this fall to elect a leader who puts the well-being of our loved ones first: [link removed]

Since the beginning of this pandemic, we’ve seen the Trump administration fire the global health security unit, spread dangerous misinformation, and block additional stimulus relief for our families. Instead of crafting a comprehensive federal response to this crisis, Donald Trump has given up. As a result, students, teachers, and families are at risk as schools reopen -- but we’re fighting back.

We are fighting back against the corporate shills in Congress and the White House who have depleted resources for public education and public health. We choose to elect leaders who will invest in our students and our communities instead of lining the pockets of greedy CEOs with our tax dollars.

With your help, we are closer to defeating Donald Trump and electing a president who actually listens to scientists and medical experts.
