Earlier this week we asked our members "Should NIAC Action endorse Joe Biden for President?" and you all had a lot to say! In fact, 86% of NIAC Action members responded with an enthusiastic yes. And among the reasons why? Because the Biden campaign has already committed to our two top asks: repealing the Muslim ban on day one and returning to the Iran deal.
On Monday, we will announce our endorsement decision--but ultimately the choice rests with you. So tell us: should we endorse Joe Biden to become the next President of the United States?

If the majority of NIAC Action members want us to endorse Joe Biden, we will run a massive voter turn-out campaign and encourage our community to vote for Biden and all other NIAC Action endorsees at the polls. And if NIAC Action members do not want us to endorse Biden, we will focus our efforts on voter outreach, supporting our current endorsees, and solely encourage members to vote in the presidential election, one way or another.
Regardless of the endorsement decision, the sheer number of responses from all of you so far is a testament to how dedicated our community is to electing the right people to office this November. And in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the administration's failed maximum pressure campaign on Iran, and the systematic xenophobia perpetuated by Trump's Muslim ban, one thing is certain: 2020 marks the most important election of our lives.
