I'm an investigator with DxE. Sometimes we enter farms under the cover of night to film the conditions inside, but other times, we can document animal abuse right from public property. We call that frontline surveillance. I've led lots of frontline surveillance missions, and we've had some interesting confrontations with farmers who didn't like us taking photos.
