Africa & Europe
- Pray for the IJM Romania office as they seek local staff. Pray that the hiring process would run smoothly and the right people with the right skills will apply for the social worker and office manager roles.

Latin America
- Pray for a petition in the Dominican Republic to continue to gain traction and move forward quickly. In June,

IJM Dominican Republic urged the Dominican Supreme Court to declare child marriage unconstitutional. Child marriage constitutes a harmful practice that limits a child's development opportunities and potentially exposes them to violence like sexual abuse and even sex trafficking. Praise God that since the introduction of the petition more than 15 civil society organizations and coalitions have joined our call to demand change.

South Asia
-
Praise God for a string of small rescue operations that freed children, women and men from modern slavery this week. IJM and our partners helped free 5 men from a construction site, 2 people from a mango farm, a young couple from a brick kiln, 11 children from a factory and 38 girls from a textile spinning mill. We are so grateful for the bravery of these victims to speak up about their abuse and for the dedicated local officials who took action — even during the pandemic. Please pray for the next steps: arresting suspects, preparing legal cases and providing immediate aftercare for these survivors rebuilding lives in freedom.


Southeast Asia

Pray for survivors in the Philippines who are supposed to enroll in school this year but will face the challenge of alternative modes of learning and online classes. Pray for any financial constraints, and for stable internet connection in remote areas.

international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the
Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

- Pray that God would bring the right people to join our staff. In particular, pray for three open finance positions across the US and Canada. Pray also for the transition and welcoming of new staff members who are beginning their jobs during this time of completely remote work.
