There's no doubt in my mind that if we win this race, it'll be on the strength of our ground game, and the incredible organizers and volunteers who are working hard every day.
With less than three months to go until Election Day, we need to make our grassroots operation stronger than ever before and hire three more organizers. If you can, please chip in $5 or more before our mid-month organizing deadline to help expand our staff.
I've gotten to see our grassroots operation through Zoom conference calls. Our staff and volunteers are passionate about making sure upstate New Yorkers are ready to vote in this election. They care deeply about our neighbors and our communities. It's inspiring to see.
My field director, Nate, tells me that we've already made over 100,000 calls across the district to remind upstate New Yorkers about what's at stake and how they can safely and securely vote by mail.
So, the only thing that can stop us is if we don't have the resources it'll take to keep going strong as we wrap up the summer and head into the fall.
