The 19th Amendment: The Untold Story
Last week, historians Martha Jones and Lisa Tetrault joined National Constitution Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen for a conversation exploring the history and legacy of the 19th Amendment—highlighting the untold stories of women from all backgrounds who fought for women's suffrage and equality for all, as well as the work still left to do after the amendment's ratification. The program ran on both of our podcasts and was part of the Center's Women and the Constitution initiative—a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment.

Each week, we share the newest episodes of the Center's two podcasts: We the People and Live at the National Constitution Center. We the People, hosted by Center President Jeffrey Rosen, is a weekly show of constitutional debate that brings together thought leaders of all viewpoints to discuss and explain the constitutional issues at the center of American life. Live at the National Constitution Center features audio from our America's Town Hall programs featuring leading historians, scholars, journalists, and public officials. If you're missing our in-person programs, you’ll love our podcasts!
