It’s May Day, a day to lift up workers and stand in solidarity with those
bravely fighting to unionize their workplaces.
Unfortunately, Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress are using their
power to do the opposite. They’ve consistently put the interests of their
billionaire campaign donors first.
But Delaware sent me to Congress to fight for working families, and that’s
exactly what I’ve been doing.
I’m proud to be an original cosponsor of the Protecting the Right to
Organize (PRO) Act, which expands and strengthens protections for workers’
right to organize a union and bargain for higher wages, better benefits,
and safer working conditions.
I’ve also fought to pass paid family and medical leave, and stood with the
educators union against Trump’s cuts to the Department of Education.
Regardless of what Trump and Republicans in Congress do, I’m committed to
keeping up this fight. Because I know that every worker deserves a living
wage, basic protections, good benefits, and the support necessary to
thrive.

add your name to show your support for pro-worker legislation like the PRO
Act?
