AFSCME Family:
In our first-ever virtual International Convention, we proved once again that AFSCME is at its best when things are at their worst. Even a global pandemic didn’t stop our union from charging forward, shaping our destiny and writing our future.
We boldly charted the course our union will take over the next two years. We heard how a Biden-Harris administration will fight for working families in the White House.
We heard moving stories from AFSCME front-line heroes who braved the coronavirus pandemic to serve their communities, and we paid them the respect they deserve.
We may have been apart, but we showed that our solidarity, our resolve and our power remain stronger than ever.
Please take a moment to read some of the highlights of AFSCME’s 44th International Convention.
In Solidarity,
Lee Saunders
AFSCME President
