Dear Friend of Israel,

Yesterday was a momentous day in Israel's pursuit of peace.

President Trump announced that Israel and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to normalize diplomatic relations and open new channels for peace and cooperation.

Last night, Tel Aviv's city hall building was lit up with the flags of Israel and the UAE.
This agreement is a historic step forward and a byproduct of a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. It is a powerful demonstration that when Israel is secure, when it has the resources it needs and the support it needs from the United States, peace can be achieved.

This would not be possible without the work you do to help strengthen those bonds. I thank you for your ongoing commitment to this movement. Let this serve as a powerful reminder of what is possible through a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.

Click here to contact your members of Congress and encourage them to support this agreement and efforts to bring peace and stability to the Middle East.

Sincerely,
Brian Shankman
Director of Regional Affairs and Development

The Arrow defense system is capable of intercepting Iranian ballistic and cruise missiles, including munitions carrying a nuclear payload. Yesterday's test simulated a long-range missile attack on Israel, and Arrow successfully intercepted the missile.
Palestinian Terrorists Hide Bombs in Balloons Sent to Southern Israel
Palestinian terrorists in Gaza continue to launch explosive balloons over the border into Israel, igniting fires and causing destruction across southern Israel.

On Wednesday, at least 24 fires were sparked by incendiary balloons in southern Israel, and on Tuesday, over 68 fires were sparked by incendiary and explosive balloons throughout the Gaza envelope, burning about 200 hectares of land.

This is the reality Israelis are forced to confront.

Colombia To Open Trade Office in Jerusalem
Colombia will open a trade and innovation office in Jerusalem, Colombian President Iván Duque announced Monday.

This cooperation will advance Israeli, Colombian and American efforts to promote peace and prosperity.

This announcement coincided with the ratification of a Colombian-Israeli free-trade agreement (FTA)—Colombia’s first FTA with any country in the Middle East.

President Iván Duque declared his desire to increase Colombia’s cooperation with Israel and America at the AIPAC Policy Conference in March.
Lithuania Designates Hezbollah as Terrorist Organization
On Thursday, Lithuania announced its designation of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.

"Hezbollah uses terrorist means that pose a threat to the security of a significant number of countries, including Lithuania. We stand together with the United States of America, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, as well as other countries that had reached the same conclusion," a statement by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius says.

Hezbollah is an Iranian-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon that is dedicated to Israel’s destruction. It receives $800 million annually from Iran.
