Hi John,

Last week, EDF members from across the nation celebrated Earth Day, sharing inspiring stories, photos and videos to remind us all why our planet is worth fighting for.

It was deeply moving and shows that the progress we’ve made, and will continue to make, reflects the will of so many voices from all different walks of life.

We will use that motivation to push even harder for climate progress! That’s why I’m excited to share with you some actions and articles that you may have missed this April.

Homesick for a World Unknown, written by former EDF colleague and author Miriam Horn, is the first ever biography of George Schaller — one of the pre-eminent field biologists of the past century. Schaller transformed our understanding of animals and saved more wild landscapes and wild creatures than anyone before or since.
