Big news, team -- after seeing MJ closing the polling gap to just one point, Sen. Cornyn released his first television ad of the general election. In it, he talks about reopening schools safely -- which is pretty rich coming from the guy who spread blatant disinformation about reopening schools, claiming "We still don't know whether children can get [COVID-19] and transmit it to others" and "No one under the age of 20 has died of the coronavirus."

Nearly 100,000 kids tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks of July.

Sen. Cornyn is launching “mission accomplished” ads instead of doing his job and making sure our kids, their families, teachers, and school staff are safe from COVID-19. He actually left Washington for a month-long recess, despite the ongoing national crisis made worse because of his failure to lead!

This is personal to MJ, who has two little boys, including one who’s just starting kindergarten. We need elected officials who we can trust to keep our kids safe. Will you help elect MJ, a leader who will do whatever it takes to keep all of our kids healthy?

We don’t need a senator who pats himself on the back as millions of children are put at risk.
