It's no secret that Black candidates and community leaders have been the backbone of the progressive movement for centuries. That's why together we'll also be looking back at historic figures like Shirley Chisholm, Fannie Lou Hamer, Ella Baker, and more to examine their influence on our movement for change -- both past and present.
