Folks, America wants and deserves better than the division we're seeing right now. Under Donald Trump and JD Vance’s leadership, families are struggling, the economy is suffering, and everyday life is harder for people all across the country. To put it plainly: This administration is leading with cruelty and chaos instead of doing what’s best for working families.

But I know that we have the power to see beyond the anger of today's politics to the promise of tomorrow – and that’s exactly what my fellow Democratic governors and I are doing across the country:

When Donald Trump enacted his illegal tariffs – costing the American people hundreds of billions of dollars – I joined a lawsuit with state leaders nationwide to block them and stop his attacks on our economy.

When this administration’s policies abandoned rural America, I prioritized job creation and investment – leading to the highest wages for new jobs in Kentucky’s history.

And when Trump slashed SNAP benefits last year, Dem govs from Kansas to Pennsylvania sued to reinstate critical funding to nearly 40 million Americans – including 600,000 Kentuckians.

Team, it’s clear: When Trump attacks, Americans can count on Dem govs to stand up and fight back. And with the 36 governors’ races on the ballot this November, we have 36 chances to defend and expand our blue firewall in the states.

But Trump and his allies are starting to throw everything they have at us in races nationwide, which is why I’m asking now: Will you contribute tonight and help us reach our goal of electing more Dem govs this year and beyond?

As a second-term governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the three best economic development years on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election for governor by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans’ lives better – from jobs to infrastructure, health care, public education, and so much more.

Now, as our DGA Chair in 2026, he will continue to fight for progress by electing Democratic governors across the country.
