Dear John, Canadians are being told everything is under control, but the reality tells a very different story. Even The Globe and Mail editorial board has delivered a scathing assessment: what the Liberals call “prudent” fiscal management is, in fact, continued massive deficit spending with no plan to weather the fiscal storm ahead. They coined this the “upside-down land” of the Liberals. After nearly a decade of reckless Liberal spending, Canadians are paying the price. The cost of living continues to rise, and there is no clear end in sight. <[link removed]> At the same time, there is a glaring lack of urgency where it matters most. The ongoing U.S. tariff dispute is costing thousands of Canadian manufacturing jobs, yet the government has failed to act decisively. Meanwhile, reporting from the Financial Times highlights that Canada’s own industry leaders are warning that excessive red tape is doing even more damage to our economy than foreign tariffs. This is not just a missed opportunity – it’s a failure of leadership. Instead of doubling down on deficits, the government should be focused on what is within its control: Cutting red tape that is choking Canadian businesses, restoring competitiveness in our manufacturing sector, and securing stability for workers and their families. Canadians need a government that understands urgency, exercises fiscal restraint, and puts the strength of our economy first. It’s time to get government out of the way so Canadians can get back to building. If you are able, please support my work <[link removed]> . Grassroots supporters like you allow me to do what I do.
