Friend, the conservative Supreme Court has taken a blowtorch to
the Voting Rights Act.

As a result, a frenzy of illegitimate redistricting efforts could commence
across the country in the years to come.

MAGA extremists have desperately embraced gerrymandering and voter
suppression to cling to power. They know their only hope of winning is by
cheating.

For decades, Republicans have prepared for the day they could destroy the
hard-fought progress of the Civil Rights Movement.

Civil Rights Leaders shed blood, lost their livelihoods and died to
guarantee the right to vote for everyone in America.

Among many, my friend and colleague, the legendary John Robert Lewis.
Years ago, on my first day in Washington as a freshman congressman, I met
John on the House floor.

John told me not to get into any trouble, unless it’s good trouble.

rights heroes like Rosa Parks and John Lewis. The march toward a more
perfect union will not be backed up, impeded or stopped — not while you
and I are here to fight for what's right. If this out-of-control Supreme
Court thinks they can erase our history and bring us backwards, we need to
be prepared to prove them wrong. Will you chip
