Many families are looking for childcare solutions, especially with the modified school schedules we are facing this fall. The Child Care Subsidy Program (through the Maine DHHS) helps eligible families pay for child care so they can work, go to school or participate in a job training program. Note that relatives (18+) caring for kids under 12 can qualify as child care providers through this program.

CCSP is a great way to help families who otherwise cannot afford child care, even during school hours! Eligible families must meet the income guidelines.
