Friends,

I'm honored to be speaking at the DNC on Tuesday night.

Over the past four years, I've gone from being a healthy 32-year old with a newborn son to being almost completely paralyzed by a mysterious neurological illness called ALS. Like so many of you, I have experienced the ways our health care system is fundamentally broken -- enormous costs, denied claims, and dehumanizing treatment when we are most in need.

I believe strongly that defeating Donald Trump and electing Joe Biden is an absolutely crucial next step to all of our hopes for the future, especially our fight to guarantee health care as a human right.

Through November, our priority will be defeating Trump, but that doesn't mean we are giving up on Medicare for All. On November 4th, we are all-in for an aggressive campaign to pass Medicare for All and put it on Joe Biden's desk. Will you join us?

Add your name to join me, Pramila Jayapal, AOC, Ro Khanna, and other progressives to fight harder than ever for M4A -- now, and after the election in November.

The pandemic has made vivid the failures of our current health care system.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and the health insurance that was tied to their employment. Even those who are lucky enough to still have insurance if hospitalized with a serious case of COVID-19 are leaving the hospitals with bills in the tens or hundreds of thousands.

It's why more people than ever before are expressing support for universal health care. As I said in my testimony during a historic House hearing on Medicare for All last year, our time on this earth is the most precious resource we have.

A Medicare for All system will save all of us tremendous time. For doctors and nurses and providers, it will mean more time giving high-quality care. And for patients and our families, it will mean less time dealing with a broken health care system and more time doing the things we love, together.

We cannot be deterred by the fact that Medicare for All isn't in the Democratic Party platform. The time to pass this law is now, and we're not backing down.

Join me, Pramila, AOC, Ro, and other progressives in committing to fight for Medicare for All, no matter what. Add your name as a way of saying: We won't stop fighting until we win!
