It should go without saying that The United States Postal
Service is an essential service.

Americans are relying on the post office more than ever. For
medications. For grocery deliveries. For communications with
loved ones. For casting their ballots.

But that isn't stopping President Trump from waging an assault
on it. And he just honestly told us all why: Because he wants to
prevent voting by mail and make it harder to vote.

This is an unfathomable policy for an American President, but
totally unsurprising for this President. We must do all we can to
fight back and protect the USPS from Donald Trump.

[First / Listen], the broken system that got us to Donald Trump
was the result of 50 years of failed leadership. Once we defeat
him in November, we are going to need to rebuild for the next 50.
We can't rely on the politics and the politicians of the past for
the solutions, we need new leadership.

I am ready for that fight. I am ready to take on the failed
structures that got us to this moment. I am ready to build the
coalitions across this country to ensure we have good Democrats
from statehouses to the Senate.

[First / None], will you join me in that fight? Voters all
across Massachusetts have their mail-in ballots in hand, so every
day from now until September 1 is election day. Will you pitch in
to join and fuel this campaign so we can shift the direction this
country is heading, give affordable health care for all, show up
for the forgotten communities across our state, and yes, protect
