Answering Militarism with Food Sovereignty, Ecological Justice, and Internationalism
Between mid-April and early May, global movements have a few different days to commemorate and celebrate their struggles. In a period of rising militarism, the messages of these days couldn’t be more timely.

The day’s message has always been clear: Working peoples have more in common than what divides us.
In the US, where May Day originated, movements are bringing renewed attention to the day by calling for a coordinated day of action with “no work, no school, and no shopping!”
Learn more and find an action near you through the toolkit provided by our ally Grassroots Global Justice Alliance (GGJ).
