Hey John,

I'm sending you this message from the road on Sioux City Sue -- I've got good service at the moment so I'll try and keep this short.

At the beginning of every month we set a fundraising goal, and this month, my finance team set the bar at $75,000. We've been doing well so far, but with my team and I traveling to every one of the 375 towns in Iowa's 4th, I'm a little worried about making the mark in time.

Meeting the farmers, nurses, retirees, and working families of our district has been an incredible experience for me. I've gotten a great sense of what folks on the ground need from their next representative.

We need transparency, we need an open line of communication to our leaders, and we need to know that when a vote comes around that will affect our livelihoods, our representative will pick people over politics and profit, every time.

I know I can deliver what Iowans need and so much more -- But I need to get to Congress before I can make our neighbors proud.
