President Trump just threatened to cut Social Security. We're gathering 5,000 signatures to demand Congress protect Social Security. Add your name now >> [link removed]

Team,

Eighty-five years ago today President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act into law.

The Social Security Act created a social safety net that provides financial support for Americans who pay into the system their whole lives. Over 65 million Americans rely on these retirement, disability, and survivor benefits, and we have a duty to preserve them.

But President Trump threatened to make permanent cuts to the payroll tax that we rely on to fund Social Security benefits.

The millions of Americans who depend on these benefits can’t afford to lose their income. So will you join Chris in honoring the 85th anniversary of Social Security by calling on Congress to protect Social Security?

Social Security is a promise we make to hard working Americans that if they pay into the system, these benefits will be available when needed.

It's up to us to keep that promise. That's why Chris has fought in Congress to not only protect, but also strengthen Social Security.

Add your name now to stand with Chris and protect Social Security.
