Dear A.,

While the United States maintains the pressure on Iran through the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, it's also surging vital resources to Israel to help our ally defend itself against ongoing and future threats.

Over the past day, cargo ships and planes from the U.S. carrying 6,500 tons of military equipment

arrived in Israel to replenish the Jewish state's stockpiles.

The shipments contained "thousands of air munitions, ground munitions, military trucks, JLTV combat mobility vehicles, and additional equipment," the Israeli Defense Ministry said, with the ministry's director general adding that the shipments "will continue and intensify in the coming weeks."

Since the conflict with Iran began on February 28, more than 115,600 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel on 403 flights and 10 ships.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the goal is "to ensure that the IDF receives all the necessary means so that it can return to operating at full strength against our enemies at any time and in any place required."

Meanwhile, President Trump is set to receive a

briefing today from CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper on new plans for potential military action against Iran to bring the regime back to the negotiating table.

Sgt. Liem Ben Hamo, age 19, was killed in a Hezbollah drone attack.

May his memory be a blessing.

Earlier in the day, 12 Israeli soldiers

were injured in northern Israel in another Hezbollah drone attack. Two of the soldiers were moderately wounded and the rest are in good condition.

In response to Hezbollah's ceasefire violations, Israel launched a wave of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure across southern Lebanon.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun complained about "Israeli violations" of the ceasefire, and called for pressure to "be exerted on Israel to ensure it respects international laws and conventions and ceases targeting civilians."

Aoun has failed to take any action to counter Hezbollah or stop its attack on Israeli communities, despite his government's

April 16 commitment to "take meaningful steps to prevent Hezbollah and all other rogue non-state armed groups in the territory of Lebanon from carrying out any attacks, operations, or hostile activities against Israeli targets."

Likewise, Lebanon failed for nearly two decades to implement U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701, which also called for Hezbollah to be disarmed.

PA continues heinous "pay-for-slay" policy

A

new State Department report highlights that the Palestinian Authority (PA) has continued its heinous "pay-for-slay" policy, in which it makes payments to Palestinian terrorists who murder Israelis.

In 2025, the PA provided $156 million in payments and benefits to Palestinian terrorists and their families.

The "payments and benefits for Palestinian terrorists and their families is not compliant with the provisions of the Taylor Force Act," the report said. "The PA continues to provide a system of compensation in support of terrorism through new mechanisms and under a different name."

announced the creation of a new joint venture to build a 50 million gallon per day seawater desalination plant in Texas.

The facility will process seawater from the Gulf into potable water using advanced reverse osmosis technology, and is estimated to cost around $1 billion.

The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
