Hi, John!
Building a future right now comes with rising costs, shifting opportunities, and real uncertainty about where you fit. For Gen Z, the economy is front and center, influencing how they plan and prepare for what comes next.
I see it in my 19-year-old niece. She’s figuring out in real time what stability looks like, what opportunities are actually within reach, and how to make her voice matter in a democracy that doesn’t always make space for it. She has big ideas, real questions, and a clear perspective on the future she’s stepping into. What she doesn’t always have? Enough places that truly listen. I care about that, and so does When We All Vote.
That’s why we launched Pass the Mic [[link removed]], the largest effort to listen to and amplify the voices of young people across the country. Gen Z deserves more than a political process that talks at them, so we decided to build something different. Something shaped by real voices and designed to turn what they’re saying into action. What Gen Z says matters, and what they do next matters even more. When We All Vote is ready to meet them where they are.
As we enter a new month, I want to quickly reflect on a few of the things that brought me joy throughout April:
✅ Pass the Mic pulling up to North Carolina A&T for our first on-the-ground activation. 💛🐶
✅ The NBA Research and Development Instagram [[link removed]]. So much fun! 🔬🏀
✅ The Beyoncé and Monaleo [[link removed]] link up we all deserve. 🐝🎀
✅ Discovering new music via Club Carter radio [[link removed]] on YouTube.
