When I was a bartender, I relied on tips to pay the bills. I know the urgent and daily stresses of working class people because I have lived them. And these experiences have made me a better member of Congress.
Today, I’m proud to let you know that I am endorsing someone who understands this same struggle, Sam Forstag in MT-01.
Sam is a smokejumper — a firefighter who parachutes out of planes to battle wildfires — and a union leader. He knows what it’s like to work two or three jobs at a time just to pay the bills.
[link removed] [[link removed]]I first met Sam last year on our Fighting Oligarchy Tour with Senator Sanders. He’s been on the frontlines of some of our most critical battles, fighting back against DOGE cuts and layoffs of Montana workers. I know he will be a force for working people in Congress.
But big corporations, lobbyists, and the ultra wealthy are going to do everything they can to stop fighters like Sam. They’ve already committed major money toward winning this district.
Just like me and so many other progressive brawlers, Sam doesn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. He isn’t independently wealthy. The only way he’s going to be able to win this race, is with the help of grassroots supporters like you.
