The truth is, I don't like to ask for too much.

I know we are all trying to do everything we can to respond to the chaos and cruelty of Trump’s presidency. The breaking news is constant as Trump and the GOP chip away at our democracy, skyrocket the cost of living, and drag us into reckless, needless wars.

But midnight tonight is our campaign’s April fundraising deadline, and we set an ambitious goal to close out the month. We want to prove that our movement is stronger than ever, especially now as we head into a summer that will include a fierce fight for reelection and Democratic victories in the midterms.

So, if it’s not too much to ask, I’m hoping you can make a contribution today.

If everyone reading this chipped in today, we could make it clear to the billionaires, the oil companies, and the far-right super PACs who stand in our way that we are building a real grassroots movement that is only growing stronger. We would continue forward with momentum on our side.

And the thing is, it’s not so much about how much money we raise, but rather how many people make a contribution and join our cause.

Even a small contribution helps us show the size and strength of this movement — a movement that works day in and day out to fight the climate crisis, restore our democracy, invest in the working class, and much much more.
