Today marks the 85th anniversary of Social Security and Donald Trump sure has a weird way of celebrating, doesn’t he? 

He just signed an executive order delaying payroll taxes -- and now he wants to make those cuts permanent, which could cut off funding for Social Security and leave the current and next generation without any benefits.

Democrats will fight to keep Social Security secure and stable for future generations, while the Republican party threatens cuts at every corner. Instead of fighting to protect older adults in Maine, Republicans are sacrificing them in order to give big business a hand out.
