Good morning.
I woke up early today, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out before
the day gets away from us.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about something I hear from Maryland families
everywhere I go: people are working harder than ever, but still feeling
like the ground keeps shifting under them. Groceries cost more. Rent keeps
rising. And too often, it feels like the people in power are more focused
on political games than real solutions.
That’s not acceptable.
In the Senate, I’ve been fighting for policies that actually meet this
moment: lowering costs, protecting voting rights, and standing up for
working families who are too often left behind in Washington debates that
don’t reflect their lives.
That’s why what happens now matters so much. We’re approaching our
end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight, and these final hours of
April will set the tone for the work ahead, including how strongly we can
continue pushing back.

can carry this momentum into May and the months ahead?
