John, it’s Roger, the DNC’s Executive Director.

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in $7 to the DNC. But first, I want to give you a quick update on our progress this month, and what comes next.

  • To level-set: We need to flip FOUR Republican-held Senate seats and THREE Republican-held House seats to take back Congress.

  • Here’s what that means: We need to win in states like Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Alaska — all states that Trump won in 2024.

  • Here’s what the DNC is doing: Hiring hundreds of organizers who will register hundreds of thousands of new Democrats in battleground states like the ones I just mentioned, investing in state parties and campaigns, and taking the Trump administration to court to protect your right to vote.

To sum it up: We’re building the largest midterm operation in DNC history — and it’s not going to be easy, but we’re going to win the midterms. The future of our democracy depends on it.
