Votes are still being counted, but right now, Republicans have received more votes than Democrats in the primary for Washington's 8th district.

These results confirm what we knew from the beginning: this race is going to be a fight to the very end. After all, Kim was the first Democrat to ever win in WA-08.

Now that Republicans had a strong showing in the primary, we can count on them to ramp up their attacks against Kim in the general election. If they keep their momentum, we risk losing Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority this November. We can't let that happen.
